Jeff’s First Fixed Blade Knives
When I received notice of Jeff trying his hand at making his own fixed blade knives and had some for sale, I jumped on two of them. Jeff was straight up when describing these knives, saying that they would have some flaws in them for his first time creations. The two I chose and received are perfect medium sized fixed blades for small game. They’re very well made with very minimal flaws. For Jeff’s first time making fixed blades, he did a GREAT job. I’m very pleased with my purchase and looking forward to seeing his future fixed blades. Thanks, Jeff for a very fine product at a reasonable price.
Absolutely SUPERB! Awesome Design
I saw Jeff’s LB7 Lockback with the Stars & Strips on the blade, with stars etched into the spine of the blade and knew I had to have this one. The Jigged Bone handles are beautiful. To hold this in hand is to see where a Master has been at work. I couldn’t be happier with this knife. Although this knife will be ‘gifted, don’t think for one minute I wasn’t trying to convince myself to keep this one.
Thank you Jeff for another Superb design and remodeling of an exquisite LB7. I know the person who is receiving this is going to be in awe also.
I ALWAYS enjoy perusing your site and looking at your art work and expertise on your knives.
Schrade 206 Barlow with Mahogany Bone Handles
Another excellent knife from Jeff’s workshop at a reasonable price. Have purchased a number of knives from Jeff and am proud of every one of them. It’s great to see an old knife dressed up and brought back to life.
Jeff’s knives are special
I recently acquired a Schrade 50T in “Python Micarta” and it is my new every day carry knife. I now own a total of 8 of Jeff’s creations. Each and every one of them holds a cherished place in my collection. Most of what I collect are traditional slip joint pocketknives with bone, stag or pearl handles however I am beginning to see the value of Micarta as a handle material. I have always admired old knives with colorful celluloid handles but have never added any to my collection for fear of them outgassing. Finding these new patterns in Micarta fills that void in my collection without the risk involved in having celluloid in the same area as the rest of my knives. And when they are on an old Schrade or Camillus brand classic, even better. Jeff’s work is outstanding, and his prices are very fair. I will continue to look forward to seeing what comes out of his workshop in the future.
